Birthday celebration in Central Park
Central Park Housing Scheme is a gated society on Ferozepur Road in south Lahore, with planned blocks, parks and family homes. Many families moved here for space and security, and children play in the parks in the evening.
Parties are mostly at home. Parents want a full setup brought to the door, since the big markets of central Lahore are a drive away.
In the cool months, from October to March, lawn parties with games in the open work best here. From May to August we move the cake table indoors, start after 5 pm and bring pedestal fans for the lawn. The society parks are close by for family photos, with the society office's permission.
