Birthday celebration in Township
Township is one of the older planned areas of south Lahore, built in sectors around College Road and Akbar Chowk, with Green Town and Kot Lakhpat on its edges. Homes are mostly 5 to 10 marla, often with joint families, and the streets have a close neighbourhood feel.
A Township birthday usually means a full house: cousins, neighbours and school friends together. Parents want good value, so we focus the budget on the backdrop and cake table where every photo is taken, and keep the rest simple.

Setting up a birthday party in Township
Township lanes are narrow, so we bring a small van and carry items in. College Road and Akbar Chowk traffic is heavy in the evening, so setup starts after lunch. Load shedding is common in summer, so we ask about the UPS and bring battery lights for the backdrop.
A typical birthday in Township
A car race theme for a four year old in the lounge, 20 kids and 15 adults. A balloon garland, a printed backdrop, a race track game and a cake table, with patties and juice for kids and tea for adults. Setup in two hours.
