Serving homes in the F, E and G sectors, lawns in DHA and Bahria Town, and halls across Islamabad and Rawalpindi
The nikah is the shortest function of the shadi and the one that matters most. As your nikah event planner in Islamabad, we plan the setting, seating, photography and timings for homes, lawns, halls and mosque courtyards. Tell us the place and guest count, and we plan around both.
A nikah needs very little to be complete: the couple or their representatives, the nikah khawan, the witnesses, the nikahnama and the families. The decor is there to give that moment a focus and to make the photos look as special as the day feels. It should never get in the way of the ceremony itself.
So we keep nikah setups simple and well placed. A dressed nikah table, good light on the faces, clear seating for the elders and a quiet space around the nikah khawan. In a mosque we follow the committee's rules exactly. At home we work around the drawing room furniture instead of emptying the house.
Where the nikah happens decides almost everything about the setup.
The most common choice. A drawing room or lawn setup for close family, often on the morning of the barat.
An outdoor canopy for a larger gathering, sometimes followed by lunch or a qawali in the evening.
Held before the barat or walima on the same stage, with a quick changeover between the two.
Minimal decor within the mosque's rules, with seating and a clean space for the ceremony.
Nikahs happen all year, including outside peak shadi season, but the setting still changes with the weather.
Pleasant mornings and afternoons, the best time for a lawn nikah with a canopy and lunch outdoors.
Cold mornings, so most nikahs move indoors or wait until the afternoon sun. Outdoor setups need heaters near the elders.
Spring nikahs on lawns are lovely but need a rain cover. Many families also hold a nikah before Ramadan and the rukhsati after Eid.
Hot days make evening or indoor nikahs the better choice. Fans, coolers and shade matter more than flowers.
Friday nikahs after Jummah are popular, so those slots book early at halls and with nikah khawans.
Book the full setup or only the parts you need.
A floral canopy or arch over the nikah table, fabric draping and flower stands placed so the couple and the nikah khawan sit at the centre of the room. At home we fit this into the drawing room or lawn you have. In halls we set it on the main stage and change it over for the barat or walima after.
A dressed table with a clean cloth, flowers, a Quran stand and a pen set for signing the nikahnama. We place the table where the light is good for photos and there is room for the witnesses and elders to stand close.
Separate or mixed seating as your family prefers, with sofas for the couple, the elders and the nikah khawan. We mark reserved seats so guests do not take them before the ceremony starts.
A photographer briefed on the nikah order: the ijab o qabool, the signing, the dua and the first photos as a married couple. We make sure the photographer stays respectful during the ceremony and works quietly.
Video coverage with a clean audio line for the khutbah and the vows, which are hard to hear in a crowded room. We place a small mic near the nikah khawan with his permission before the ceremony starts.
Minimal decor that respects the mosque: a clean carpet, floor seating, a small table for signing and flowers only where allowed. We contact the mosque committee in advance and follow their rules on timings and photography.
Many families follow the nikah with a qawali. We set up a raised platform, floor seating and sound for the qawwals, and plan the switch from the nikah setup to the qawali without guests waiting around.
Decorated trays of chuwaray and mithai for distribution after the nikah, ready at the side of the stage so they go round the moment the dua ends.
Book any of these with your nikah, and one planner coordinates all of them on the same timeline.
Stage, flowers, entrance, table and room decor for weddings, birthdays and corporate events, designed as one look.
Photographers for every function, working to your running order with an agreed family photo list.
Highlight films, full coverage and clean audio for the nikah and speeches, planned with the photographer.
Wedding and event catering, BBQ, hi tea and live stations, with serving times planned into the event.
Marquees, shamianas, side walls, flooring, chairs and heaters for farmhouses, lawns and rooftops.
Speakers, mics, mixers and DJs for mehndis, qawalis and corporate events, with a technician on site.
Balloon arches, garlands, walls and ceiling balloons for birthdays, showers and corporate events.
House lights, fairy light canopies, stage lighting and uplights for shadi homes, marquees and halls.
Most Islamabad nikahs still happen at home, and a home setup needs its own kind of planning.
The house looks special for the nikah and normal again by the evening.
